Murder in Murloo (Dusty Kent Mysteries Book 1) (English Edition) Kindle版
Can evil lurk in the heart of an ordinary person?
A young woman lies dead. Gabby Peters was strangled in her own home. One year later the killer still has not been caught.
The victim’s parents call in Dusty Kent; an investigative journalist with an impeccable record in solving cold case murders. Dusty’s determination to investigate unresolved crime is fuelled by a personal connection through her own family tragedy.
Is the killer Gabby’s fiancé or one of her friends? Is it the neighbour with the mass of dreadlocks or spiteful old Edna from down the road? They are all hiding secrets. Which one is hiding the worst secret of all?
The hopes of Gabby’s grieving family rest on Dusty Kent. However, this case tests her to the limit and she despairs of ever catching the callous killer who hides in plain sight. Will that killer strike again?
A shining example of Australian Crime Fiction. If you like Agatha Christie, Elizabeth George, Louise Penny or Anne Cleeves, you must read Murder in Murloo.

Enjoy enjoy reading this book .
I did.
Others have outlined the story, so I won't bother to add anything regarding the plot, etc. However, I do want to say that I raved about this book to my DH (who's a die-hard Poirot and Holmes fan). He'll be borrowing my Kindle soon. LOL
I love Mimi! (And would love to have one!)
Learning about the different wild animals that I'd never heard of before was also quite a treat. Especially a potoroo. And Chad with his blind opossum (possum in the book) reminded me a tad of Radagast the wizard in The Hobbit (part 1) - the one who had the hares pulling his sled and had bird nests in his hair. Loved it! LOL
I'll definitely be reading more of this author's work!
