I have read most of her books but this one was one of her best. Finished the book in no time as I couldn`t put it down.

Thus book kept me reading and I didn’t want to put it down. Great suspense, lots of twists, and I loved the way the author tied up leftover bits at the end. Being American, there were lots of unfamiliar Australian terms, but having British friends helped with that! Overall - a very good read!

Loved the good and absolutely abhorred the evil characters. Bad v Good, Good v Bad. Right to the end wasn't sure when the nightmare would end or would it ever end.

I haven't read much set in Australia and I really did enjoy the location descriptions which were very well drawn. The main female characters were believable and brave and human and the baddies were very bad indeed. It is brutal at times, in fact very brutal now and then but none of it is gratuitous and it is well done. The ending has a touch of sadness, a touch of left over fear and a degree of hope. What more can you ask.

The story is intricate and gripping with many threads which are tied together cleverly with a very satisfying ending.

I finished it in two sittings and was truly gripped by it.

A family out for revenge. But which family?
A story where you can't trust anyone in your life.
Stated as fast paced, I didn't think it was. Didn't take away from the enjoyment though.
