Jenny Frame is from the small town of Motherwell in Scotland, where she lives with her partner, Lou, and their well loved and very spoiled dog.

She has a diverse range of qualifications, including a BA in public management and a diploma in acting and performance. Nowadays, she likes to put her creative energies into writing rather than treading the boards.

When not writing or reading, Jenny loves cheering on her local football team, which is not always an easy task!

wealthy business who donates an egg or two in the past discovers her past when a child looks her up and claims she looks after his mother. when the kid is taken home she discovers that the kid's mother is expecting another child from one of the business woman's eggs again. HEA at the end

Some of the plot felt a bit rushed but still I really enjoyed this story from beginning to end. It was heartwarming, funny and hot, all in one. Congratulations to the author. I think the plot is quite unique and the characters very charming. If you don't want to read anything too dramatic and want to enjoy an original love story, this is your book.

I love Jenny Frame‘s way of creating characters and with Dale she created the perfect Butch! So loveable, playful, childish and sweet and also a bit rough but so charming. The Perfect Dream Butch! The story was pure and sweet too. I love how Becca and Dale got to know each other slowly and how this stupid little jokes from Dale make Becca fall in love with her. It‘s funny and oh so heartwarming to read the changes in Dale about her feelings toward her children und also in Becca to let someone in. It really is a great romance! I love it!

Wow, Unexpected has now shot up into my top five romances. This is literally a perfectly paced novel with characters that ring true and they drive this romance that is so satisfying that I read it in one sitting. I couldn't leave.
Dale is the most appealing lead character that I have ever encountered. We catch this "player" at the end of her run. At 36 she makes the observation that the women in the bars are getting younger and younger. She is over it and looking for meaning in her life. She has a very successful business and two very close friends, but that's all she has and because of a deep wound from her teens, she questions whether she will ever be deserving of a real relationship.
A very persistent ten year old drags Dale into his life. Jake is desperate for a knight in shining armor to help his struggling mother and he is convinced that Dale is the one. Becca is aloof to say the least. She has been betrayed in different ways by the only two women she ever loved with and her need for self-preservation and for the sake and safety of her son, Jake, she has decided to shut herself off from the world and not let anyone in ever again. Dale is so warm and charming. She is not charming in the smarmy way that many players are portrayed. It is just in her DNA. Despite her own demons, she is moved by Becca and slowly breaks down her walls and helps Becca learn to trust again. They share a very, very special bond and the story is basically about the two of them coming together very timidly, but with utter respect and sensitivity.
Of course there are some plot points that threaten their delicate, blooming relationship, but Dale is determined to make Becca her own. She recognizes that Becca and Jake are exactly what she has been looking for.
I loved Dale from the get go. She is gentle, caring, and willing to take risks. Plus...she has a wonderful sense of humor and tells the most ridiculous jokes that they make her all the more endearing. It took me a little time to warm up to Becca because she was so aloof, but in reflecting on the story, she ultimately had everything to lose. Jake is a delight as a gifted ten year old. Dale's friends hold their own as characters and the "villain" fills that her role perfectly.
This book is lovely and I encourage any reader to purchase it.
