This is the 6th book in the Trinity Lakes series and another good read. I have enjoyed this series. This time the main characters are Hallie and Josh. The story starts with Hallie going on a date with a man she met online. Things are not what they seem and we see her moving to Trinity Lakes for a time. She is staying with Joel's family and we learn he too is dealing with health issues. Although only a few people know how bad the accident he had in Australia was.

I felt for both Hallie and Josh. Both have dealt with issues that have changed their lives. Hallie dealing with being a Missionary kid and being smart dealing with others perceptions. Josh has dealt with a life changing event that causes him ongoing issues. I loved watching the growth of both characters as the story progresses.

Another part I love is the connection with other characters in the series. We also learn more about a mystery that has been weaving through a few of the books. One thing I really enjoyed seeing was how simple conversations would convict both characters showing they needed to change. The faith element is strong in this book without preaching. I wish I could say so much more but that would give to much of this story away.

If you have liked the other books in this series this book won't disappoint. If you haven't read the other books you would still be able to understand what is happening.

Jenny Glazebrook’s delightful romance is entertaining and uplifting.
Some of the characters suffer health and emotional problems. Many readers will relate to their journeys and be encouraged and strengthened by Jenny’s offerings of wisdom and spiritual guidance. Both the main characters, Hallie and Josh, are suffering set-backs in their lives but together they learn the best path to follow.
The main characters are believable and endearing apart from the character in the cautionary subplot who adds apprehension and dread into the plot.
Overall, this Trinity Lakes novel is an enjoyable read.
