Stephen M. Silverman was a twenty-year veteran of Time Inc. and was the founding editor of People.com. He was the author of The Amusement Park as well as The Catskills: Its History and How It Changed America among many other titles. I really enjoyed this book. I had no idea that "amusement parks" go back as far as they do. Fascinating - and loved the stories about Coney Island, Disneyland and other renowned places.
