J.K. Rowling is the author of the enduringly popular Harry Potter books. After the idea for Harry Potter came to her on a delayed train journey in 1990, she plotted out and started writing the series of seven books and the first, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, was published in the UK in 1997. The series took another ten years to complete, concluding in 2007 with the publication of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The Harry Potter books have now sold over 600 million copies in 85 languages, been listened to as audiobooks for over one billion hours and made into eight smash hit movies. To accompany the series, J.K. Rowling wrote three short companion volumes for charity: Quidditch Through the Ages and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, in aid of Comic Relief and Lumos, and The Tales of Beedle the Bard, in aid of Lumos. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them went on to inspire a new series of films featuring Magizoologist Newt Scamander. Harry’s story as a grown-up was continued in a stage play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, which J.K. Rowling wrote with playwright Jack Thorne and director John Tiffany, and which is now playing in multiple locations around the world. She is also the author of a bestselling crime fiction series, and two stand-alone children’s novels, The Ickabog and The Christmas Pig. J.K. Rowling has received many awards and honours for her writing, including the OBE and Companion of Honour, and a Blue Peter Gold Badge. 本は素晴らしいですが
予定より１週間遅れて到着し、埃だらけであちこち潰れたり折れたり擦れたり、さらには修繕の跡まである破損品が届きました。とても新品とは思えず返金してもらいましたが、読むのを楽しみにして待っていたので正直気分が悪いです。買う時は業者選びに気をつけたほうがいいですね、勉強になりました。多少高くてもAmazonさん直で買い直します。星１つにしたいところですが、本は素晴らしいので星３つに。本や箱のイラストはとても素敵で本の紙質も悪くありません。思ったより字は小さめですが、行間が充分にあるので読みやすいと思います。

イギリス版子供用ハリーポッターがペーパーブックで全7巻。
(1巻目「賢者の石」の表記がPhilosopherなのでイギリス版だと推測)

他の方のレビューに「呪いの子」も入っていたと書かれていたので、ドキドキしながら届くのを待っていましたが、我が家も入っていました。
ボックス内に全部で8冊一緒に収まってます。
セールで6000円弱で購入できました。

自分はすでに1巻「賢者の石」だけ単品で所有していたのですが、こちらのセットのものはなぜか厚みが薄くなり、サイズも多少小さくなっています。
本の背表紙上部に、人によっては気にならない程度の若干のスレ、傷などがありましたが、大変満足です。
シリーズのファンで、なおかつ英語学習をしたい方には極めて強くオススメいたします。

Really nice reading with these books.

* high print quality, paper smells great and is very firm, doesn’t tear
* easily bendable with sturdy glue binding for the thicker books like book 5, no issues at all bending them 180 degrees or to read the right side single page, with left bended all the way back
* font is good sizing and easily readable to read this masterpiece of fantasy

Primeiro que chegou em 2 dias, veio com um pequeno amassado na caixa e no livro 4 mas nada muito grande. Os livros são lindosss, um pouco menores do que o padrão, e as folhas não são tão finas como pensei pela descrição, parece ser uma versão mais infantil então por isso a escrita está em um inglês fácil de ler, muito bom pra praticar.
