An amazing story. The author's view of the human behind a myth is intriguing and interesting. The character is believable, the circumstances are also presented in a believable sequence. The lead character is Helen of Troy's sister and not viewed as a villain by the author

This is Penelope s 2nd novel which I totally devoured . A wonderful Greek period with extremely nasty characters .As Such was that time period especially for woman. A great read thankyou.

A fascinating look at a part of history not generally known to too many. Greek mythology runs through every part of daily life and our language and it was interesting to read this writer’s take on one chpter of it. Unfortunately the author makes the same mistake as so many others have done before and will do again. That mistake is this. Words in quotation marks are obviously words that have been ‘said’ as much as spoken so why does she feel the need to constantly point that out? She’d be better off explaining just how those words were delivered since we know already they were ‘said’. She does try sometimes though but not often enough.
