This outstanding book will resonate with so many middle-aged women who have lost themselves along the way.. Women who may be in the middle of divorce, contemplating it, or trying to recover from divorce, should absolutely read this book! The main character, Maggie, is so totally relatable, that I kept saying to myself throughout the book, "That's me!". Her unexpected and surprising friendship with Jean showed her life,s possibilities. Her kids and her friend's support were intricately woven in throughout the book and helped give her the courage to make some difficult decisions. All of this combined with her relationship with her husband, Adam, with all the highs and lows, the joyful memories, and the pain she suffered through due to his affair, the divorce process and the recovery thereafter, are what makes this book a " must read" for anyone at this point in life. I highly recommend reading this book!

Heart wrenching but also motivational. None of us know how we would behave in a similar situation, but I felt Maggie's behaviour was completely realistic and believable. Very well written.

I could really put myself in the main characters place and I enjoyed getting carried away from my own life for a while. Not the most thought inspiring of reads but somehow I was inspired to live authentically.

I read this book in a heartbeat and the end had me looking for an epilogue because I wanted more.
