Andrew is an undeniable genre fan, with a passion for science fiction, action and adventure, mythology, history, and any great conspiracy theory. Like a lot of kids that grew up during the 70’s and 80’s, Andrew is inspired by the popular films of the era including Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Blade Runner, Alien, and the list goes on. He endeavors to bring that same sense of wonder, emotion, and excitement to his novels.
Andrew’s an avid collector of film soundtracks and considers this style of orchestral music an indispensable writing tool. You’ll find him locked away, writing to the sounds of John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith, Michael Giacchino, and many of the great modern composers.
Andrew draws on years of experience from working in film and television to his writing. He’s written several award-winning screenplays and directed, edited, and color-graded hundreds of television programs and short films.
Andrew lives in Melbourne, Australia. He has a wife, three children and a cat named Bilbo. When he’s not busy running between work and kids basketball games, rest assured he’s hard at work on his next novel. He also likes to squeeze a good book or television series into his schedule.
